No, there sure isn't. I haven't seen nuns, but I have seen a few monks, and
Templars and a Hospitlar. There are other ways to cover one's head, including
using wigs (a period method), so she is not condemned to always be a nun.
If she's interested in Elizabethan fashion, I would be most happy to suggest
ways to approach covering her short hair.
