Greetings to all who walk the Bridge!
I have the problem that my mundane name is period and while I could have used it I didn't
want to. It didn't take much time to get used to my SCAdian name, even with my
brother-in-law shortening it to Fresca (also quite period, believe it or not!). However, my Lord
Husband was a bit slower to choose a name, and so was dubbed Hugh the Silent, since he's a
bit on the quiet side. (Opposites attract don't ya know!) However, since then he's also been
called Hugh the Helpful, Hugh the Ingenious, or Hugh the (your adjective here)!
Give it time, it will soon sound right to you.
YIS,
Francesca
