Greetings Bridgewalkers,
Does anyone know of a source that has a picture of a 14th century
indulgence? I am doing some research into the Pardoner's profession and
would love to see what an original indulgence looked like. I assume that
some looked similar to an official court document with hanging seal etc.,
well at least the expensive ones, but I am not certain.
Thank you for any information.
