I have some not so good pictures from a museum in Rotenburg Germany. I do have
very good memories of them. There were about 10 on display from the very
expensive and ornate, to the very simple. They did indeed resemble court
documents and in fact closely resembled marriage decrees of the time.
I don't have any good links alltho you may try Martin Luther, or German sites
for an alternate source.
