Noise at court is a pet peeve of mine too. I think this response is
part of the solution. I think if more of us did this, folks would get
the idea. The problem is that people have their own whispered
conversations during court. They don't think they are disturbing anyone
but what happens is that each little conversation creates more noise and
everyone has to talk louder to make it through the din. If I were
Queen, I know I would be very offended and I would have no problem
stopping court and saying something myself. (just the way I am)
