Noise during court has been an escallating problem over the years.
And it wasn't just the feasters who were talking. There was a pretty
large contingent of people on the north side of the hall who were
keeping up a running conversation. The problem with having court
before feast (and in the same hall) is that the servers and setup
crews were getting instructions during this time as well.

I was very impressed that HRM Finn actually went back to the kitchen
to apologize to Mistress Priscilla and Lord John Paul for holding up
feast. They were pretty ragged out by that time, as most of their
help for the day didn't show up.

Visual image for the day: Master Wolfgang, spider monkey. :-)
