While this would be laudable, it is often difficult to predict whether or
not someone who is to receive an award will be present at an event at which
it is to be given. There are often extenuating circumstances that prevent

people from attending events that they had perhaps planned on attending or
that it was felt that there was a high likelihood that they would attend.
Most of the time, the majority of the award recipients are present.
Sometimes, TRM have a run of bad luck where more of the awards are given by
proxy than to the actual individuals to whom they were given. It happens -
I've seen it.

Unless we could all disseminate our personal travel itineraries, it will
still continue to be a matter of "hit or miss" when it comes to the giving
of awards, unless someone has a better solution.....................
