Try going in another dimension... how 'bout having more
space? I was not there, so I don't know the particulars of the site, but
was
the great room the only room available for all these activities?
How large a space do the Peerage meetings take? Was there a
library, smaller auditorium, employee lounge, board room, etc. that might
have been made available?
Is it possible another largish room could have been found/used
for Court, allowing the tournament to run over without harm to the
schedule? As the lists are taken down, tables can be set up - both noisy
things that should be well away from Court.
For those who were inconvenienced, think about solutions and
try to use them when you run your event. I know it's not easy, and Life
Happens, but the more contingencies you plan for, the fewer Problems you
will have [Problems take thought to solve, if they are solvable.
