Ok, I'm back...for those who remember me, and for those who don't, hello!
About awards recommendations....
Last year a group of us all got together and recommended one of our
locals for a Purple Fret. We knew the recipient would be at TGS's 12th
Night. We made certain that the Crown knew it as well and then we
practically killed ourselves to make certain that the recipient made it.
Drove us nuts. Then, we found out that she wouldn't make it to Court
because her para-transit pick-up was before then and couldn't be
rescheduled since it was the latest that they ran. So, being an unusual
circumstance, we spoke to Their Majesties and they agreed to give the
award right before feast. All the fanangling that we did paid off when
the recipient was given her award and burst into tears of joy. She never
saw it coming and never thought she'd ever earn one. It was so worth it.
