Yup, how about finding a big huge fighter type to stand up and bellow a good
loud "OYEZ!!!!" when that happens. That is what happens in our shire if too
much banter goes on during local meetings. We just happen to have several
very large men with equally large voices who, with one loud "OYEZ!!!" can
silence an entire room.

Frankly, I would not be averse to a Court Herald doing that in the middle of
a Court if there was too much background banter going on. Times were, they
used to do that unashamedly. They just need to return to that practise.
(Hint, hint, Dafydd, Brent, Dmitrii and all the other Court Heralds I know
on this list!!)
