For no good reason, I observe; in Fair Caid, there is an Opening Court,
wherein the information of the days event are set out (marshals here, heralds
there, special rules are...,etc.) and some awards are presented, and shtick
is shtuck.
At the end of the event, there is Closing Court, where most awards and
business are conducted. After that, we retire to the feasthall, or to our
respective dinners, afterwards to return to the revel, with dancing, bardic
circle, perhaps various desserts. (Maybe later to a post-revel...)
