As a college student in a shire that is about a third students or recent
graduates-I agree wholeheartedly with this! :) Most of us here do not
have the money to travel to large events-we also happen to be far away from
most of them-WW is about five hours, Pennsic is about 24, most of the Crowns
and many Northshield Coronets are at least two hours away, you get the idea.
I have a feeling we will be seeing MANY Northshield courts shortly
however-the current heirs live about 45 minutes away. :) I know many of us
will be recommending people during the next few months for awards they
deserve simply because the chances of actually being there to recieve the
award are higher.
