I have always wondered about the "periodness" of something sounded to grab
attention. You know like the blaring of a trumpet, the pounding of a staff.
One always sees these things in movies before X event starts or X royal
speaks. Could the act of this be researched and then something done? Blare

the trumpet when court starts, if the talking level gets to loud, singnal
another blast? It may seem a little childish or harsh, but it would
certainly grab people's attention again. Hmmmm...... how bout a big gong?

. As a preschool teacher, I am so tempted to make them all
