In Meridies on the Tavern Yard along with others I have been posting
snippets of period works or works by people who wrote or composed
in period times.

The snippet will have a title and/or author missing and the object
was to name both. Please feel free to start you own version of this
game in your own kingdom. I lurk on the lists of three kingdoms and
and am a little active on the Meridian list.

This is a way to keep things ging when the list gets quiet. Plus some
of us have fun with it.

Just as a snippet of a film may get someone interested enough to
watch a film. Perhaps a snippet of a period piece may get someone
interested enough to read a period work.

All who have copies of period works are incouraged to add material
to the 'game'. The exposure to the works may do some good and
does fit the educational/informative aspect of the SCA.
