Hey, but you have to admit even if the song is stupid at least the history
is being taught correctly-they aren't skipping over who was there first and
that the Native Americans were there when the Vikings showed up. And if the
kids wrote it-they were involved in the lesson, writing a song is fun for
them, and they are more likely to remember that lesson than they are a
lecture or just reading the book because that is what they do all the time.
