Good friends on Middlebridge....
Lord Abu was on the SCA Potters list, and I shared notice of his passing
there....the following was a response from a fellow potter in An Tir.
Hroar
From: Jeanne Wood <clayjinn@yahoo.com>
Greetings,
Although I never met Lord Abu I would like to extend
my sympathy to all his friends. Being in the SCA and
being clay workers makes us family.
I recently found this writing and I would like to
share it with you. It is not sent as a religious
statement but rather as an expression of beauty.
"Inside this clay jug there are canyons and pine
mountains, and the maker of canyons and pine
mountains! All seven oceans are inside, and the one
who judges jewels. And the music from the strings no
one touches, and the source of all water. If you want
the truth, I will tell you the truth:
Friend listen: The God whom I love is inside."
----Kabir. 15th Century.
Sincerely,
Morgaina
