This is bad.
According to the London Daily Press, the Landed Gentry Society is
planning to auction off some more British titles.
The problem I have with this?
One of the titles to go on the block is Lord of the Manor of Loxley,
or, in other words, Robin Hood's "official" title.
(whether Robin-the-Hooded was an anecdote-made-legend, or whether he
existed at all, is immaterial)
Ordinarily, I wouldn't even have TOO much of a problem with that.
But.
Kevin Costner, the story goes on to say, perhaps the worst Robin Hood
to ever sully film, was specially notified of the sale, and is
expected to bid on the title.
Aargh.
Anyone have a quarter mill they're not using, just to keep it out of
No-Accent's hands?
