> This is the Best Version of The Christmas Carol I've ever seen! It's
> practically as good as the version with Mr. Maggoo <ducking & running>
Hey, I happen to LOVE the Mr. Magoo version, and don't consider it
Christmas if I don't get to see it. It was broadcast on Thanksgiving
afternoon around the time we were sitting down to eat, we discovered
later in the evening, much to our dismay - BUT - my mom does own the
videotape of it, so we'll probably watch it some evening when I go home
for Christmas. I still get weepy when I hear, "I'm all alo-o-o-o-one in
the world!"
That is a Christmas Classic, just as the Grinch, Charlie Brown and
Lady Saradwen Ariandalen, age 42 and a proud member of the Boomer
Rudolph are a part of my Christmas experience. Guess I'm just one of
those aging Baby Boomers who was raised on those Christmas specials. It
ain't Christmas without 'em!
