Wow-I've also worked with children who have special needs-many levels, can't
say that has ever happened to me. I can say that I've bonded with
particular kids who are a lot like me. I don't choose favorites or
intentionally favor anyone, but I do bond with certain kids more. This last
semester when I was assisting at the university preschool for one of my
classes, it was a little child who is also Melanie-absolute sweetheart and a
four year old version of me. Also a lot like me at four years old.
Interesting world....
