I moved from Miami, Florida in mid January to near Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
I grew up near charleston, s.,c. - I never did get used to the cold totally.

Here in Trimaris you can tell the natives from the tourists in 'winter'. We are
the
ones dressed for the frozen tundra when it is 60 degrees out... I have had the
flannel
sheets on the beds since mid october...

When I discovered that I was going to have to put off starting school (again)
until the
end of March, my joy knew no bounds, instead of two cold snowy Ohio winters, I
shall
be 'blessed' by only one... than home to New Orleans, to spend my winters in the
cold
rain. It is all in the perception and what one is used to I think.
