<<I did like the Irish tenors singing of Silent Night, but find that too hard
to believe considering he just came from a coal mine and was covered with
coal dust. At that guys age it would be hard to sing with black lung ->>
Actually, the fact that it was a group of singing coal miners, led me to
believe they were Welshmen, not Irishmen. (The unmistakable Celtic tenor,
tho, it's sometimes hard to tell the difference, unless the singer is showing
a pronounced accent.)
The Welsh are kind of famous for bursting into loud choral melodies at the
drop of a hat, despite the coal-dust, black lung et al. Monty Python used
to make fun of it all the time. Rent yourself out a copy of "How Green Was
My Valley" sometime, you'll know what I mean. ;)
