ALL RIGHT!!! I AM NOT CRAZY!!!!! It IS possible to have a just math learning
problem! I KNEW that had to be it! I have been in the same situation all
of my life-I can read numbers and everything I just can't do much else with
them-that's why there are calculators in my opinion-I also can repeat them
back in order to a certain point-for me that is just memorization. I have
not completed my math requirement for college because I just can't learn
algebra in a lecture environment. I tried. I went to every class, took
notes, talked to the teacher, went to the help sessions-I even went to the
head of the math department. I just went and took a test last week that I
think will prove my theory and then maybe someone will finally be willing to
help me out...
I want my degree, I can do everything else that is required of me-I can get
mostly As in everything else, I just can not learn math the way they are
trying to teach it to me. I would be really upset if because of one stupid
requirement I didn't get a degree. Besides I am an early childhood
major-when will I actually need algebra? (anyone out there who's in this
field want to answer?) Sorry frustrating situation.
