If you suspect that you really do have a math-related learning disability,
you should check in with an academic advisor and see if there's some way to
be tested for that.

You could also check and see whether something related might satisfy the
requirement. For instance, a course in logic (usually offered through the
philosophy department) or a computer programming course (just a basic
one--maybe HTML; that might be useful in the future) might be substitutible.
