If you're talking about those disposable paper masks,
(I've been casting with fiberglass; my art instructor told
mask would be one of those masks you see some folks with breathing problems
wearing this time of year when the air is cold and dry,<<
DO NOT wear them if you're dealing with toxic stuff.
Go down to a hardware store and get one of those full
nose-and-mouth long-lasting masks, the ones with replaceable
filters. the paper ones do not form nearly enough of
a seal around the nose and mouth; you'd wind up
breathing a lot of gunk through the sides.
Get a mask that forms a tight seal all 'round the
mouth and nose, so all the air has to go through
the filter.
me that I needed a good filter, because the paper ones
were (as far as he was concerned) junk, good only for
allergies but not for toxic stuff.)
