Has anyone actually talked with the owners? That wouldseem the first
thing to do, to find out how the Renfair feels about such a relationship.
Given the differances in philosophy between renfairs and the SCA, and
the past history, the relationship might be a bit touchy. They are, after
all "For Profit" and we arn't. WE tell folks that they can do all this
for themselves; renfairs say, pay us the entry fee and we will do the
work...We would need to deemphasize the aspect that we could be seen as
competition.
Personally, I don't think this organisation has any trouble
recruiting. What we really need to work on is retaining those recruits.
This we don't do too well.
