When I worked in a living history musuem, we called these people
"tour-ons," a combination of tourist and moron.

The favorite questions of a tour-on:
"Is that a real fire?"
"Is that real food?"
"Is it hot in front of the fire?"
"Is it hot enough for you?" (Usually said during August)
"Is that a real axe (knife, plow, horse, chicken, snake, etc.)?"
