When I "look" at someone's work with my hands, I treat it as if it was a
fragile item, even if it's armor. But I'm most curious about back work.
How were the seams finished; how does this person "knot" his/her embroidery;
how are the articulations attached....stuff like that. A person can learn
just as much or more from what's behind the pretty stuff that shows.
