[Mid] SCA Chicago demo

I don't have too many more facts to post about the demo, but I will
share the few that have changed.

Merchants will not be allowed to sell stuff. My guess is that the
people who are running this panicked when I asked about legal
requirements. (They seem a tad flaky and unrealistic) They did suggest
that a merchant could set up their wares and hand out business cards.
I believe they are under the impression that all of our merchants make
their goods. If you are planning on a display, (merchant, A+S, or
otherwise) you need to contact me anyway. They will be setting up
tables and want to know stuff in advance.

Basic info...
Where: Cultural Center, Downtown Chicago (Randolph and Michigan)
Parking: looks like we can reinburse people's parking
When: Dec. 2nd and 3rd
SCA Demo 12 to 3
Performances 3 to 5

We are there to be educational and mildly entertaining. There will be
people (Jugglers and performers) hired to be truly entertaining. (Not
that we don't amuse people.)

People interested in performance need to contact me ahead of time.
These are performances in front of a real theater type of audience. I
have some musicians kinda interested in performing. They will be
putting together a something to go to the City people with. You could
do the same. Contact me for more info.

If you want to just perfom at your leisure during the demo, that great.
You don't have to contact me, but it would be nice.

Lord Cecil DuPont will be in charge of Fencing
Sir Fern de la Foret will be in charge of heavy fighting
Lady Jale whose whole name I can't recall of Tree Girt Sea is in charge
of coordinating Chatelaine stuff

Contact these people if you can help them in their areas.

I will be calling more people soon. I will be sending a mailing to
relatively local seneschals when I have all the facts and time for a
spare thought.

That you everyone who has responded. Responce makes the city planner
much more at ease. My appologies to those calls/ e-mails I haven't
returned. You will hear from a frantic me.
