>>Yep, but I wouldn't strike a movie or book off my list just because
they
happen to like it.<<

I've also stated that I didn't like LOTR to begin with. I found it
tedious, verbose and tiresome. And I enjoy long books/stories. The fact

that the Christian Right and the Christian Coilition are promoting it
just confirms my decision to not bother with seeing the movie. In fact,
if I didn't care for the book, I end up not liking the movie, either. I'm
even debating on whether I should bother with the next Star Wars flick
that comes out. I wasn't crazy about Episode I. I felt it just didn't
live up to the original trilogy. Not as richly thought out and peopled.

I didn't like Titanic, either. I found it a titanic snore. The only cool
part, IMHO, that occurred was the stuff after it smacked into the 'berg.
That was cool.

And Elizabeth was a waste of film.

Shakespeare in Love rocked on a monumental scale. Fave part: offal being
tossed out of the second story window into the street. Nice touch of
realism and research. Made ya feel like they cared about the texture of
the film. Nasty, stinky, smelly old London......
