I, also am ordained by ULC. But I had no problem in Minnesota getting
the "privilege" to perform marriages. Took my original ordination
paperwork to the county courthouse and it was done. No questions
asked as far as where my "church" was, numbers, etc.

As far as the State is concerned that is the only "legal" ceremony we
have to worry about. ANYONE can preach, baptize (according to YOUR
religion), or eulogize, etc as far as the state is concerned.

I think, personally, it will differ state to state, depending on that
states laws.
