Re: [Mid] Finally saw LoTR today

You made a good point. Outside the SCA, I've heard a lot of people say
they didn't get parts of it, or felt like stuff wasn't well
explained. Although it had done well on this list, it hasn't done as well
on some of the lists I'm on. I've heard a lot of people say they were
disappointed with it - mostly folks who hadn't read the books.

   Personally, I was disappointed by the looks of the hobbits and Aragorn
(did they read the books before casting these people?) and the fact that
they left out an entire bit about Tom Bombadil and his Goldberry (was that
how her named was spelled? doesn't look right) but again, those were
disappointments based on reading the books. LOL
