That sounds like a better analogy than some I've heard... since it's called
a "war", I've encountered a lot of folks who want to see a more military
feel to the place.. and the non-combatants are explained as "camp
followers". Since I'm one of those "I'm On Vacation!" people, that's
something that I wouldn't mind *seeing*, but I'd rather not do... :)

    I joined in 1982, just at the tail end of the "jurassic" period, so I've
got my SCA upbringing in the old school... Local branches need to be as
broadly accepting as possible, and Specifics are for individuals and
households..:)
