Ok, I'll tell you what I used to do. I would take either bisquick,
pop-in-fresh rolls, or some other roll-dough recipe ( use your favorite).
Roll the biscuits out flat - place your favorite medieval ingredients
inside - anything from cheese to already cooked meats and vegies. Make sure

you place the mixture on half the circle - fold the other half on top of it,
pinch or roll the edges closed and bake the regular time it takes for the
roll recipe to get nice and brown. These can then be placed in a sealable
container to take to site and use as a wonderful grab all food.

Subject: [Mid] waybread

My good Lords and Ladies,
I bring to you a question put to me by my Lord Husband that I could not
answer. Does anyone have a recipe for something called waybread or
journeybread. It's basically a loaf of bread with cheese and meat baked

inside. This would be used at events, going to and from events, Pennsic
etc.

I would appreciate any help you might be able to offer.

My thanks
