I think, when we started this thread, the gentleman who was new was asking about reasonably cost-effective ways to get started with garb and equipment in the SCA.
I'm with you, Medb. When folks are giving it their best shot, go them!! And when we can find that great piece of authentically-compatible fabric, we should share with others so that all may benefit.
