Look, to me, the best thing about the SCA is that it allows for things like the
tournament companies -- which focus closely on a more specific time period -- to
exist without needing all of the extra infrastructure themselves. The SCA
provides the framework -- what you build is up to you.

So if we were a 20th century recreation group, an Apollo space helmet, some
love beads, a zoot-suit jacket, a teal mohawk and some Warsaw Pact camoflage
fatigue pants with WWI "dough-boy's" leggings would be authentic garb?
