[Mid] A very grateful and heartfelt THANK YOU

Greetings from Mistress Siobhan O'Neill, Editor of Artes Draconis!

I would like to extend my heartfelt and extremely grateful thanks
to the good people of the Canton of Three Hills for their support of
Artes Draconis.

This is the first financial donation I have received, and I am
eternally grateful to them for this magnificent and selfless gift.
It will be of invaluable assistance to this most worthy publication.

Artes Draconis is totally self-sufficient, it receives no stipend
from the Kingdom or the KMOAS office.

The generosity of my cantonmates is unmatched, and it shows me yet
again that I live in a wonderful corner of the SCA community. (as if
I needed to have it proven...)

As a result of this, I look to be able to enhance the publicity of
Artes Draconis, and with the assistance of the MOAS office, I hope
to distribute what I am calling a "Reader's Digest" version of Artes
Draconis to every group in the Middle Kingdom before the middle of
2002 (and the nasty increase in postage rates). This sampler will
contain excerpts of some of the best articles from my first year as
editor, in hopes of increasing the subscriptions and visibility of
this publication in the Midrealm. (gee, maybe I can try a page of
color plates or a color cover...)

My boss, Master Arundel, will be also providing invaluable
assistance with the mailing labels and a stipend to help offset the
costs of mailing over 125 copies of this sampler.

Without his help, and without the help of the Canton of Three
Hills, accomplishing this task would be impossible with my current
budget.

I will be dedicating issue #30 to the Canton of Three Hills, I hope
to have it available at ValDay.

Once again, THANK YOU so much to the Canton of Three Hills for
their marvelous gift. I love you all!
