Re: [Mid] Choking down the scope of the SCA

Best answer I've ever heard to this type of
question... when people ask me (specifically) "Why
don't you just join a Roman re-enactment group?" I
could give them the long answer... Most of those
groups don't have evnts as often as SCA does, they
tend to be male and military heavy, and I am not a
guy, nor do I fight, and the majority of the groups
aren't located in my neck of the woods.

Short answer is one i'm stealing from The Imperial
Governor of Northshield:
