Worse. I've been a skiptracer for a collection
agency... I wasn't to poor schlock who had to demand
the money, I had to hunt down the ::ahem::
"customers" who had defaulted on their student loans,
verify who they were ("No, ma'am, I'm not asking you
to TELL me your social security number, I just want to
know if 1234 is the last four digits of yours. I have
the information on the person I'm looking for... if
you are that person, then we have something to talk
about. If you aren't, just say no, thats not me, and
I will go away." Insert a lot of swearing, colorful
language, and vague threats here), inform them that I
didn't give a rat's patoot about the money (I didn't.)
and tunr them over to someone who cared a great deal
about the money.
It sucked.
