I'm not sure I really want an answer to this (as there are so many of
them), but does anyone on this list know what I can do with a
wheelbarrow full of acorns?? Do they make a dye like oak galls or
walnut husks?? I still have more to pick up from my lawn and
flowerbeds, but this oak tree has decided that it just HAD to drop
millions of the little suckers <grin>. Thank goodness, it does this
about once every 3 years or so <sigh>. At least the oak tree in the
back yard isn't being so prolific!! I've already done a Google search,
and found nothing pertaining to how to use acorns (except for one woman
in California who makes flour with them -- a bit more work than I think
I want to put into this project at the moment).
