Hi. I checked with my wife; she said acorns don't do a great job for
dying. They can be used for food, though; she said it's a pretty involved
process-- soak them a long time to get the bitterness out, grind them up,
etc. She has directions from a book on Native American stuff; if you're
interested, email her at emilysue@earthlink.net & she can forward you more
info.
