[Mid] Fwd: CA rule change

This was sent to me from another list. Is this also true for the Middle?

We have one change to the rules.  On golf tube arrows or bolts the pinch
nock is now banned.  The reason being is the golf tube is still less than 1
¼ inch along the axis of the golf tube and can enter a fighter's helm.
There are common methods that can be used instead of the now banned nock
style.  Nocks such as film canisters, soda bottle caps, siloflex plugs or
foam sewn into place.  If you go to www.combat-archery.com and go to the
arrow and bolts section then click on Yes below the Golf Tubes column you
will get a page showing how to construct the siloflex and soda bottle cap
nocks.  I will try to have at least one of these types at Fighters Collegium
for those who need to see one up close and personal.

Please get the word out to all combat archers, CA Authorization Marshals,
and Knightsmarshals.  If anyone you know of needs the information and does
not have internet access please tell them to contact me by phone or mail.  I
will get the information to them ASAP.
