If you have the Middlebridge in your address book, open up your address book and
double-click on the entry for the middlebridge. In the new window that opens,
click on the 'Name' tab. At the bottom, there should be a check box labled
'Send E-Mail Using Plain Text Only', make sure the box is checked. Click on OK
to get out of those windows, a voila, no more html.

In general, go to the Tools menu in Outlook Express, and select Options. Click
on the Send tab. At the bottom under Mail Send, click on the check box for
Plain Text. Again, click OK to get out.

This should work for most all versions of Outlook Express. This might also be
the same way to change Outlook, as well.
