[Mid] messages and formatting

I'd like to second the "kill the HTML" request.

More important to me than that, though, is a request that people:
(1) clip the bloody messages being responded to, and
(2) stop top-posting; it makes following conversations difficult when the
replies are *on top* of the subject, when other commentary is properly interlaced.
