I'd like to second the clipping request and veto the top posting request.
I really hate having to scroll clear down to the bottom of a message to find
the response. If I'm reading a reply chances are pretty good I'm following
the discussion I've probably already read the commentary. Besides which if
you are properly clipping messages there shouldn't be much in the way of
commentary in the post. Also I frequently get messages where the lines of
text are interspersed and its difficult sometimes to determine who is saying
what and to whom.
My personal biggest pet peeve - change the subject line if you change the
subject and its close correlary - if you get digest change the subject to
the topic you are responding to.
