Actually top posting makes the conversation go faster and make more sense
to me since I don't have to wade through lines of uncut commentary. I can
open a post, read and move on or answer. I'm on a couple of lists where
top posting (and cutting extraneous text and posting in plain text only)
are mandatory and I must say those lists are joy to read. Personally I
hate having to scroll through old posts to get to someone's new
comments. I really hate when people break it down bit by bit adding their
comments after someone's lines, and then posting a few more lines and
commenting etc. etc. ad nauseum. Normally conversation doesn't flow that way.
