>What was the last piece of garb you made or bought, and why?

I would have made it. I think it was a new chemise, but I'm not sure - it's
been a while.

>What is the next piece you plan to make or buy, and why?

I'll make it. Something spectacular :), possibly German - maybe English.
because I want a new dress.

>For what weaves (e.g. velvet, brocade, etc.) do you think it's acceptable

Anything you need to. If you only have money to go buy bedsheets at
Goodwill to make your chemise, then do so. Personally, I'd rather save my
pennies, bide my time and purchase the fabric closest to 'right' for the
garment as possible. And remember, right now is the time to go out hunting
linen! If you buy it in the fall, it's on sale and you can work though the
winter to have new clothing in the spring and summer. Just as spring and
summer are the time to purchase your wool! (though I don't, I'm horribly
allergic to wool :().

>What events are people going to this weekend?

Well, it's Monday and I missed the last weekend - I stayed home and had my
parents over visiting and then some of my and my husband's friends stopped
in on their way home from an event. Great weekend! This upcoming weekend
I'm going to Denver for the Known World Costume Symposium. :) My first
out of kingdom event.

>What one change, be it major or minor, would you like to see put in place
>for next Pennsic?

That class sign up for A&S isn't happening while classes are
happening. It's difficult to go and stand in the line if you're in a class
- or you have to miss a class to go and stand in line. :( I'd rather see
it moved back to first thing in the morning... and no, I'm *not* a morning
person.

>Tell us about a SCAdian you think highly of, and why.

Her Excellency, Iasmine de Cordoba, Baronessa Roaring Wastes and member of
the Order of the Laurel. Her grace, her dignity, her elegance, and ability
to make anyone feel welcome, cared for, and important no matter the place
or occasion are greatly admired.

>How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

a chuck wagon full, of course.

>Why did the chicken cross the road?

Because three little pigs moved in next door and the chicken knew that the
neighborhood was going to the wolves.
