[Mid] Glad Tidings in the Order of the Pelican

Noble gentlefolk,

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Their Majesties of the
Middle Kingdom, Alasdair and Guenievre, placed Eleanor Isabeau du Coeur,
of Northshield, on vigil for the Order of the Pelican. Their Majesties
granted this boon asked the Order at Crown Tournament this past weekend.

Lady Eleanor is a noteworthy and dedicated Chirurgeon, having served at
local, Principality, and even Society levels, as well as at events in
several Kingdoms. She served as Acting Chirurgeon General during the time
when Galen was called to active military duty in the Middle East action.

Eleanor will be elevated to the Order of the Pelican at the Boar's Head
event in Wisconsin on December 5, according to a note she has posted to
the Chirurgeon-specific mailing lists.
