Clear DayA short message from the Court Bard of the Barony of the Shattered Crystal.
Hail and well met, good gentles!
I have a favor to ask of those willing. As Court Bard of Shattered
Crystal, it has become my duty and loving obligation to plan the
entertainment for the grand feast. I need entertainers for several
removes, and going with the wonderful theme of the Feast of Fools, I
would love to have jugglers or other such performers. I myself am
just a simple singer, and will be doing a piece or two of my own, but
I would love to have a prepared list of willing entertainers, rather
than handling the affair that day, as we have done in the past. If
any of you are planning on attending the Ball, and wish to help
out/strut your stuff on the performance floor, please email me
directly at hrafenskald@yahoo.com or reply to this posting, which is
not as definite as to whether I'll get the reply or not. :-)

Even if you are not interested in entertaining at feast, it will be a
wonderful event this year and we would love for any and all to to hear
this to attend! There will be at least one bardic circle in the
evening on Friday and Saturday, and there are plans in the works for a
bardic competition during the day on Saturday. Probably a simple list
of words intigrated into a song or the best composition on a theme,
I'm still unsure as to what yet. The prize will be suitably foolish,
this I know for fact.
So come on down and enjoy a fabulous event, which in the years to come
I am hoping will take on a more bardic safe atmosphere as well.
