Have a question I suppose to the heralds... I'm a long-time-ago one but
this isn't armoury related. (And this better not turn into a flame war,
it's just a simple question. The second it turns into a flame war I'm
no longer even listening to you)

Okay, here in the midrealm for grant orders we add the title THL before
names (Their/The Honorable Lord/Ladyhip) to awards such as Hearts , and
Evergreens etc... before our names we typically put THL in our
signatures or letters - Unless you have something even spiffier like
Mistress or Sir.

But I've noticed Other kingdoms seem to drop the T and only use HL.
(and tend to just say "His Lorship")

Now, that said, A third change up - Royalty gets TRM and TRH from most
everyone, but usually sign their correspondence, laws, documents under
the HRM or HRH. Both of these are also more proper for referring to
just one of the pair, a singular.

The question: Wouldn't it be more proper to sign letters/missives/bomb
threats with your grant prefix as HHL? and Use THL for third person
attributions about that person? or just shorten to HL like everyone
else seems to? Make cookies and forget all about this?

Or do I just think too much? (Whose brain hurts?)

HHL (?) Grizel, who is bored and whose email box is too empty.
