Actually I also have a 8086 computer here too! Let's see...that makes a
8086, 286, 386, 486 IBM notebook, Pent. 3 tower that I'm typing on now
:),
and a new high-end notebook plus all the appropriate peripherals. This
includes quite a few 5 1/4" floppies (and a couple of external drives)!
Like I said it's a techno-"museum" here. Anyone need/want computer
"stuff"? OD:, :)

I'm anxiously awaiting someone to declare all this equipment VALUABLE
COLLECTOR'S ITEMS! Ya, that's the ticket...<musing.....valuable
collector's items = cashing in for the big bucks to collectors...ya,
that's the ticket...I hope...I hope....!> :)

Thanks everyone for your input. I sent the intended recipient of this
computer a note saying that the consensus seems to be so far that a new
basic keyboard with the appropriate adapter would probably work. Now
I'm
waiting to hear what she wants to do. Since she can't seem to afford
ANYTHING for a more modern computer at least one of these old ones of
mine
is better than nothing. As far as I know they should work fine.
